Hollywood has run out of ideas. This is the truth with the temperature of a cold stone. So where does one go when the fountain ideas has run dry? Space. Leprechauns do it. People named Jason do it. Anything can do it, really. Here is an example. When someone wanted to make Lord of the Rings is space, they made Wing Commander.

This week the Mustache Rangers try their hand at writing the next big thing. Listen to the podcast while surrounded by your equals.

But Phooneybaum’s wife is dead, he said so himself. Did he remarry or does he suffer from space senility?

Phoonebaum’s wife can be considered as both dead and alive.

If it makes things easier to understand, pretend that inside the Mustache Ranger’s ship, there is one atom of radioactive material, and a hammer that will smash a vial of deadly poison if that radioactive atom were to randomly decay.

Do you have that pictured in your head? Good. Now, think of just the opposite of that. There you go! Good work.

So while they are inside the ship, the entire universe (including me) are both dead and alive simultaneusly?

Makes perfect sense. Thank you for explaining it with your vastly superior mustache science.

But wait, doesn’t that mean that all aliens are 50% dead, as long as you stay inside the ship? And when you leave the ship to kill the aliens, they all suddenly 100% alive, making you fail your mission halfways? Science is confusing.

    New levels of excellent.
